Ranch Director Wanted

John Wesley Ranch and Retreat Center (JWRRC) in Divide, CO, owned by the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a full time Director for the Ranch. The Ranch is the church’s “living commitment to protecting and preserving the environment given us by our Creator.” In this context, the Ranch director will manage and lead the ministry of the JWRRC in harmony with the total vision of FUMC and create and implement ministry opportunities and services for FUMC members and guests. This person must be able to create and enhance quality Christian programs in a camp environment and co-ordinate Ranch experiences with the other ministries of FUMC. Organizational skills are a must to manage reservations, financial accountability, purchasing, record-keeping, and report production. This person must manage facility operations on a daily basis with little or no supervision and be able to plan and oversee maintenance of a 120 acre mountain ranch. Although the applicant must be a self-starting, independent, motivated individual, he/she must also exhibit the ability to be a team player when working with the senior minister, the ranch council on policy establishment and implementation, and other members and leadership groups of the church.

For further information, please refer to this site and www.FUMC-cs.org. Please send your questions and/or resumes to applications@JohnWesleyRanch.org.

The Ranch is FUMC’s living commitment to protecting and preserving the environment given us by our Creator.
