John Wesley Ranch Retreat Center is a year round facility with activities for every season.  In the summer we boast two stocked fishing ponds, hiking trails, a recently renovated volleyball pit, horseshoe pits and children’s playground equipment.  We have an outdoor amphitheater with wooden stage that can easily seat 70 people.  Between the amphitheater seating and the stage there is a large fire pit.  All of this is nestled in the pines and aspens across the meadow from the Lodge.

The meadow is a great space for games and activities of all sorts.  We can check out footballs, Frisbees, baseball equipment, soccer balls, bad mitten equipment and much more to anyone interested in enjoying them.

In addition to these activities we have a specially designed Prayer Path that winds through the woods in a tranquil piece of our property.  Seven prayer stations await each with a bench and a prayer activity for either individual persons, or small groups.

In the winter (and many times into the spring) we have sledding and tubing to enjoy.  There are three runs down through the trees, which in our history served as small ski slopes, which are now enjoyed by young and not-as-young alike for hours of sledding and tubing fun.  From the Lodge and its deck those who choose not to sled can watch and enjoy this thrilling activity of winter.  Snowshoeing is also allowed throughout our property.
