John Wesley Ranch Retreat Center has two staff people who live on site.  Kenny Funk is the Director, and Marlene Urban-Funk is the Chaplain/Program Coordinator. 

Kenny has over ten years of experience working in the leadership of camp and conference facilities.  He has a BS in Environmental Studies and has a heart for ecology and stewardship.  Kenny will help make your experience at JWR excellent from the first call to the final wave on the way out the gate.

Marlene is and ordained minister and has served in local congregation settings.   She has attended church camp as a camper, then as a counselor, director and chaplain since she was in fifth grade.  She has a heart for creation spirituality, Sabbath practice, multi-faith conversation and retreat ministry.

Both Kenny and Marlene have gifts and talents that they could share with your group.  If you would like assistance with your program needs please mention it to us and we will work with you in whatever ways we can.
